Cancun Destination Wedding Photographs: Old School Glamour
Tamara, a stunning and statuesque blonde, and Erik, with his old school charm, got married in front of their closest friends and family at the start of April this year. There was something about this wedding that makes me think of Hollywood’s Golden Age – the elegance, the glamour and the fact that the entire look was so cohesive. The stunning chandeliers also harked of a bygone era. After a beach ceremony, the reception and dancing took place alongside the pool. The wonderful couple, who embraced everyone with their love, made it a magical event for all.
Every detail about this Cancun destination wedding was bespoke in the most subtle, classic way. From Tamara’s gorgeous couture shoes and lace, fish-tail gown with a delicately embellished bodice, to the couple’s rings. Tamara’s wedding ring was designed and built by Brandon Adams in Las Vegas and Erik’s band of 14K white gold. The bride accessorized her look perfectly with her hair softly pulled back from her face and gorgeous chandelier earrings. She also chose long, asymmetrical bridesmaids dresses in the most splendid violet-blue and which popped against the sand and ocean. There were delicate floral arrangements along the tables echoing the color palette and, as you can see from the first dance photos, the lighting and reflections from the pool somehow captured these purple-blue hues again. Magic.
Enjoy,
