High School Sweethearts: Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Wedding Photographs

The Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort is one of those resorts that oozes old-school glamor and this wedding of two high school sweethearts was no exception. The couple, who met when they were only 15, decided to exchange vows in paradise with 55 of their closest friends and family. The ceremony took place in the neo-classical domed beachfront gazebo alongside swaying palms and in front of the turquoise Caribbean Ocean – the location could not have been more perfect.

After the ceremony, we took some formal family shots and then took a break to make sure we would get the perfect light for photos of the bridal party and couple. So, at the magical witching hour (as Anna likes to call it), we headed to the beach for some truly spectacular shots. The reception was held in the Laguna Restaurant and then the party went out to kick up their heels on the beach. The set-up for this epic beach party was complete with a fire. Dancing went on under the stars late into the night with a DJ. The background soundtrack was the waves lapping on the shore.
