Lindsay and Nel’s Grand Sunset Princess Riviera Maya Wedding Photography
Lindsay and I go way back as she is the owner and CEO of Massive Media in Vancouver Canada. I’ve been to several of the Massive events working with a magazine that was run by a good friend of mine. I loved the events and one day got to know Lindsay a little better when I photographed her for a feature within the magazine. So when I received her email several months before her wedding I was doubly happy. First off, I love photographing people’s weddings I know and two yay, this meant Lindsay had found a great guy!
Then came the reality, well apparently Lindsay and I had not been in touch for a while because her and Nel have been together for 6 years! Yup, time flies. The good news is that Lindsay and Nels are the perfect couple and it was such a joy to photograph their wedding here in the Mayan Riviera.
Lindsay and Nel held their wedding at the Grand Sunset Princess Riviera Maya. As a wedding photographer in the Riviera Maya, I have the opportunity to go to a lot of resorts and I have to say that the Grand Sunset Princess is one of the nicer resorts on the coast. Lindsay is a tall statuesque blond and I loved Lindsay’s twist on the traditional wedding dress by wearing a short dress and the accent colour of pink, that was in the bridesmaids dresses, the floral arrangements and the tiger lily bouquet kept things feeling fresh and modern.
All in all it was an elegant modern wedding, the elegance in the simplicity. And watch out for the underwater trash the dress images coming soon.
