Jen and Clay are an awesome couple from Calgary Alberta.?They wanted a small wedding on the beach with close family and friends and therefore choose Cancun,?Mexico and one of my favorite resorts (Grand Sunset Princess).?They?had an absolutely?beautiful day with just close family and friends in attendance.?This couple was very relaxed?and I had a lot of fun getting great images. They had a small dinner at the resort and then everyone decided to head into Playa del Carmen?for a night?of drinks and fun at Fusion on the beach. Read more about their story below:
How did you meet?
We met in December 2010 on the website plentyoffish, right away we both knew we had found someone special. ?We fell in love and had a wonderful year of fun, laughter and travel. Clay surprised me and proposed on a trip to San Francisco, I said yes and we quickly decided a destination wedding would be perfect.
Tell us about your wedding day:
?
The hotel took care of everything on the wedding day so we could relax and get ready with our friends and family. ?Everything went very smoothly from the ceremony to the dinner, I would definitely recommend the destination wedding experience. ?My mom was a little unsure of doing up my lace up dress, Dean jumped in and helped her because he’s had so much experience with dresses. ?Then again after the ceremony I wanted to bustle my dress but my mom was struggling, everyone thought it was hilarious when Dean jumped in and bustled the dress for me.
We had so much fun having our photos taken after the wedding, Dean was great at helping is get into natural positions and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! ?Thank you Dean for taking our gorgeous photos we will treasure for a lifetime!
