Indigo Beach Club Playa Del Carmen Wedding Photography
This couple technically never made it to an altar, but a magical beach wedding at dusk in Playa Del Carmen in front of 35 of their closest friends and the Caribbean Sea is an arguably better alternative. I think the compassion this couple has for one another makes it clear why they have such a great relationship!
High school sweethearts Amanda and Eric tied the knot at the gorgeous Indigo Beach Club at the El Taj on a balmy March evening. After 13 years together, the couple decided on a Playa Del Carmen destination wedding. They wanted to keep it intimate and have a day to celebrate their relationship as much as becoming husband and wife.

This stunning, laid-back event was casually chic with a rustic feel and was organized by the queen of Playa Del Carmen wedding coordinators: Maria Tripaldi from Weddings in Playa. As a result, the wedding predictably ran like a dream with amazing food and stunning flowers by Floreria Jardin. Everyone had sand between their toes and Amanda hung paper lanterns from the canopy and used burlap runners on the tables and to cover the hoopa – all keeping with the rustic theme.
The bride wore a stunning knee-length dress by Ella Rosa and gorgeous flat, strappy sandals by Badgley Mischka. The two bridesmaids wore floaty, coral dresses and their hair and makeup was done by the excellent Sarah Garnier. The guys kept things laid-back in white shirts and linen pants.
Since it was an early evening ceremony, after the getting ready photos, the photographers and the couple snuck off to some Mayan ruins and the beach before the ceremony. It was perfect for some alone time and Mexico-style wedding photos before we all returned to Indigo for the ceremony and reception. I think you will agree that the jungle feel of these images, together with the amazing ruins, is something else!
A heartfelt “thank you” to the couple for allowing us to be a part of your day and we wish you all the best for the rest of your lives together. We hope you all love the photos as much as we loved taking them!
